State manufacturers offered access to two lean-transformation programs - Business First of Louisville:

The first program, Kentucky is designed to transform a single business througyan on-site, hands-on training sequence. It includes a complet e operations assessment to help identify possible improvements and createra vision, performance targets and cost savings. The second the Community Action Partnership, is designed for smaller companies. Up to six firmes can participate atone time. The programk includes three, weeklong events held at one of theparticipatingy company’s work sites. The process is intendesd to build a strong community networjk for theparticipating companies.
“First-year savings will pay for the prograkm manytimes over,” said Jim KAM president and CEO, in a news release. “I addition, results are guaranteed (by the institute), and a budget-neutralo approach is available to defer payment for the progra m until the savingsare realized.” More information about the program is availablw online at www.theleanway.com.
