The exclusive academic ratings of more than 700 Western New York districtws and schools will be based on four yearsw of test data compiled by the New York StaterEducation Department. Portions of the Businesx First package will be released on this Web site from June 1, though Friday the The complete package, includin g a substantial amount of materiao not available through the Internet, will be presenter in Business First’s 2009-10 Guide to Western New York a 140-page publication that will hit newsstandse on June 5.
This year’s guide will includw statistical profiles and ratings for all districts and schooles inthe eight-county region, alon with several feature stories on local educators and schooo systems. All Business Firstg subscribers will receive the Guide to Western New York Schoolas with their June5 papers. Copies also can be ordere d bycalling 716-541-1630.
