QinetiQ signs lease in Reston - Atlanta Business Chronicle:

As the incoming lead tenant inthe 196,000 square-foot Clasas A office building at 11091 Sunset Hills Road in Reston, its 11-yeaer lease starts later this year. McLean-based QinetiQa North America, a subsidiary of London-based QinetiQ that offers technology-baseed defense and security products and services tothe government, said its 42-perceng revenue growth over its last fiscal year has partlyu been due to its role in the intelligencr and cyber security markets and new work with the Departmen t of Homeland Security and It will be the fifth U.S. office for the which is also in Fairfax, Huntsville, Ala. and Mass.
The tenant was represented by Robb Johnson andDee MacDonald-Miller of Jone Lang LaSalle. Vardell Realty Investments LLC was represented by Mike Rob Walters and Nate Krill of Millennium RealttAdvisors LLC. Initially, 400 program management-type employees be relocatingf from various offices in Fairfaxx County into the Reston Down the road in 2011or 2012, the numberr of employees at the site will double to 800. Out of the 400 movinbg in, 75 will be part of QinetiQ’s technologuy solutions group and the other 325 will be part of its missiohnsolutions group.
